Hey guys! We started a podcast. Episode 1 is the story we’ve never told in writing: who we are, how we ended up selling houses in Japan, and what happens behind the curtain. Listen to Episode 1 - YukiHomes Presents
Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great week! We have another busy week with so many renovation projects happening, and it has been amazing to see how much we have been growing. We are really happy to be helping our clients bring their ideas to life and support them with whatever they want to do to their homes.
We are also getting close to having several houses ready to rent, which is really exciting! We can’t wait to share the finished results with all of you. Now, let’s get started with this week’s property picks!

This house has so much potential. One of the things I like most about it is that it was designed as a two-family home, which means you could live on one floor and rent out the other, or even rent both units separately if that fits your plans. The house already includes two kitchens, two living rooms, and two toilets, making that setup much easier.
From looking at the floor plan, I believe the second floor would need a shower to function as a completely independent unit, but that is definitely something that could be added. Even if you decide not to use it as a two-family home, the amount of space gives you so many possibilities to create your own project, whether that is a large family home, a vacation rental, or something completely different.
The property also offers parking for up to four cars, with four spaces inside the garage and two more outside. Daily life is very convenient as well, with a convenience store and supermarket within walking distance, and the nearest bus stop is only a 4-minute walk away.
Another feature I really like is the garden. It has plenty of space to create your own vegetable garden, install a sauna, or simply design an outdoor area that matches your own style. Overall, I think this is one of those properties where the possibilities are almost endless.
Ingredient #2

- 📍 Location: 300-1 Oaza Himegawara, Myoko City, Niigata Prefecture
- 💰 Price: ¥14,800,000 (~$91,123 USD)
- 🏠 Type: Detached House
- 🛏 Layout: 7DK
- 📐 Building Size: 253.67 m² (2,731 sq ft)
- 🌿 Land Size: 400.78 m² (4,313 sq ft)
- 🚍 Access: 27-minute walk to Arai Station on the Myoko Haneuma Line

Honestly, finding really good houses in the Myoko area can be difficult, but this one is amazing! It has a great location close to the station, offers easy access to several ski resorts, and has beautiful mountain views that you can enjoy throughout the year (you can see more photos through the listing link).
The house has been renovated both inside and out, so there is no need to worry about major renovations. It is truly move-in ready. It also offers parking space for three or more cars, a garden, two toilets, and a very spacious layout with seven rooms, making it perfect for a large family, a vacation home, or even a rental property.
The location is another huge advantage. Mandarao Ski Resort is only about a 32-minute drive away, while Akakura Onsen Ski Resort and Myoko Suginohara Ski Resort are both around 20 minutes away by car. Even Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort can be reached in about 40 minutes.
Overall, I think this is one of the best properties I have seen in the Myoko area recently. It has the location, the space, the mountain views, and it is already renovated, which makes it a really attractive opportunity.
Ingredient #3

- 📍 Location: Asahikawa, Hokkaido
- 💰 Price: ¥11,000,000 (~$67,727 USD)
- 🏠 Type: Detached House
- 🛏 Layout: 2LDK+S
- 📐 Building Size: 190.45 m² (2,050 sq ft)
- 🌿 Land Size: 289.76 m² (3,118 sq ft)
- 🚍 Access: 14-minute walk to Shin-Asahikawa Station on the JR Soya Main Line

This house is another excellent find! Just like the first one, it can be used as two separate units, but one big advantage is that this property includes a bathtub on both the first and second floors. Each level has two bedrooms, its own kitchen, living room, and bathroom, making it a true two-family home.
Honestly, houses like this are really rare, so I think it is a great opportunity if you are looking for a property that can generate rental income while still giving you your own private space. It is also just a 14-minute walk from Shin-Asahikawa Station, which is a really convenient station with easy access to Sapporo and other areas. The property includes parking space for two cars, and both the kitchen and bathroom have been recently renovated, so there is not much work needed before moving in or renting it out.
Overall, I think this is a fantastic option if you are planning to have two rental units under one roof or simply want the flexibility that a two-family home offers.
That’s all for this week! These are really rare properties, and I honestly don’t think they will stay on the market for long. So if you’ve been looking for something like this, feel free to contact us, and we’ll be happy to help you every step of the way!
